Mission
Automatic Racing will be champions of positivity, inclusivity and healthy habits to inspire future cyclists to be great people as well as great athletes. We also aim to be champions of quite a few races along the way, too!
Why Automatic Racing?
Eight months ago, Lauren Dodge and Thomas Gibbons set out to do things the right way. Too often, racers are abused and neglected by teams. Sponsor dollars, that were given in good faith for the benefit of the entire team, are often left lining the pockets of a director or single individual who uses the “team” to benefit only themselves. Our goal in starting the Automatic Racing Team is to create an honest and transparent environment where racers can thrive through a supportive, positive and FAIR culture. We believe that when you do things with honesty and integrity, results become automatic.
What We Do
Automatic’s vision breaks down to two main goals:

What We Do

- Through a consistent presence at children’s bicycling events and bike safety events, Automatic Racing will be THE embodiment of positivity, inclusivity and healthy habits for future American cyclists. All racers are ambassadors for Automatic Lids 4 Kids, a non-profit charity that works to educate children about the importance of wearing a helmet and bike safety.
- In addition to being a group of positive role models, Automatic Racing will be race winners. By utilizing professional experience and training, Automatic Racing will field a highly prepared and thoughtfully fueled team that has the ability to win consistently at a national level.
