Who we are
Tom is self-coached. He always has been self-coached, and probably always will be self-coached: he loves the process too much to let anyone else do it for him. It's worked out pretty well, too. Two years on a Belgian pro team (UCI CT: Team Cibel), plus a freelance 2016 campaign that included six wins, second overall in USACrits, and a podium at all three events National's events in the past 2 years is hard to argue with. Oh. And he raced for Wanty-Groupe Gobert (UCI Pro-Cont.) So that's pretty cool.
If you want to go fast in a crit, Tom can help. If you want to go fast against the clock, Tom can help. If you want to tear faces off at your group ride, Tom can help. There is the easy way, and there is the right way. Fortunately, the right way doesn't have to take as long as you think. Tom wants to show you there's more than one way to skin a cat. But seriously, stop skinning cats. That's messed up.
Lauren is a Registered Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist, who's emphasis is in endurance sports. She has over 3 years of varsity athletics nutrition experience and a Dietetics degree from the University of Georgia. Insider info: when Tom has a half a beer, he likes to thank her for keeping him fast and full.
Lauren is a promotor of intuitive eating and is excited to teach you to become reconnected with your body's cues. We have been trained to ignore what our bodies tell us, and thus, we limit our performance potential by under and overeating, restricting, and punishing. Let's stop the diet mentality and get fast + fit while eating what we love!
